Artist Molly Surno Davis

Start the day with an inspiring conversation with New York City–based artist Molly Surno Davis. Explore how contemporary art responds to today’s social, political, and cultural moment, how technology is shaping creative expression, and what it takes to build a sustainable career in the arts. Visit Woodward Residency, home to a small community of writers, artists, designers, and entrepreneurs.

Molly Surno Davis is a multidisciplinary artist and cultural producer who creates immersive, multi-sensory experiences across installation, performance, curation, and cultural strategy. She consults on the future of creativity, bridging contemporary art, sound, and experience design to deepen public engagement and support artist-centered models. Her performance We of Me, presented at BAM and the Getty, transformed domestic rituals into sonic instruments using custom-built microphones. She has produced projects with the Met, MoMA/PS1, TEDx, Kickstarter, and Meow Wolf. Molly mentors artists through Strategic Planning Partners, teaches at UC Santa Cruz, mentors at NEW INC, publishes Push Picks, and serves on the board of Summertime Gallery.
